The PRs and GRs of Ronda and
La Serranía of Ronda

The Serranía of Ronda has numerous ‘Pequeños Recorridos’ which connect the various villages of the region. There are also two longer routes or ‘Grandes Recorridos’ one of which is also International.

  • Gran Recorrido (Marked in white and red) sl
    GR-243 Sierra de las Nieves: This crosses the Biosphere Reserve of the Sierra de las Nieves running from Ronda to Ojén across the municipalities of El Burgo, Yunquera, Tolox, Monda, Guaro and Istan, where one of the various options to the route finishes.
  • Gran Recorrido Internacional(Marked in white and red and with the letter E) GR-7 E-4 Tarifa-Athens: This route enters the Serrania via the Natural Park of the Sierra de Grazalema and passes through the municipalities of Montejaque and Ronda. It heads towards Guadalteba, crossing the areas of El Llano de la Cruz, La Parchite and the village of Serrato, all of which belong to the municipality of Ronda.
