Located at the side of a mountain called "El tajo de la Cima", under the old way from Ronda to Gibraltar. It has got a natural water source called "Salitre", formerly called "Matanza".

 

It has got a church of the 16th century with baroque style chapels inside, due to the reformation of the church made at the 17th century. There can also be seen rests of a Iberian-Roman setlement.

 

The Patron Saint's Fair are made in honour to St. Francisco and the Virgin of the Rosary, in october, 4th to 7th, as well as the Pilgrimage of St. Isidro in may 15th and the Fair of St. John in june, 24th.
