Church of Padre Jesus

Located at the nice and popular city quarter of Padre Jesús (our Father Jesus), it was built in the 16th century.
With a square ground it has got three naves, separated by semicircular arches, supported by pillars with pilasters against them.
The central nave was covered with a mudejar framework with a decorative lace.
Nowadays only one rest of it can be seen at the church's choir, which is located at the ground of one wooden plane framework, covered with a semicircular vault, as well as the presbytery.
Close to the Gospel's nave there is one chapel with a very rich baroque style decoration.
At this church one of the most venerated sculptures of Ronda can be admired, having its procession at the Easter Thursday: Padre Jesús Nazareno (Our Father Jesus of Nazareth). Very close to the church is located the famous Fuente de los Ocho Caños (Eight Spouts Fountain).
